North Shields Ponds

North Shields Ponds Natural Area, Fort Collins, CO. I stopped into North Shields Ponds Natural Area in late afternoon. I often see people fishing at the first pond when I drive by, but I had never stopped to walk back to the other ponds along the Poudre River. I was surprised to find whitetail deer back there. I had never seen whitetail deer in Fort Collins before! The natural areas always seem to surprise me with something new.
