Rivers Edge

Rivers Edge Natural Area, Fort Collins, CO. What a difference a day makes. Yesterday was a perfect fall day for a walk along the Poudre River. Today I'm staring at five inches of snow and contemplating digging the snow blower out of the mess in the garage. But let's think more positive thoughts! Quite of few of the city's natural areas border the Poudre River. Here are some photos I shot before the snow fell in the Rivers Edge Natural Area, an area full of shade from giant cottonwood trees. The Natural Area is located just north of Lee Martinez Park in north Fort Collins.
