Cattail Chorus

Cattail Chorus Natural Area, Fort Collins, CO. The Cattail Chorus Natural Area runs along the Poudre River Bike Trail on the opposite side of the river from Riverbend Ponds Natural Area and to the north of Prospect. In addition to the river, there several ponds in the area and a large wetland filled with cattails. Redwing blackbirds and belted kingfishers are frequent visitors. Occasionally you can find a bald eagle or a great horned owl among the trees along the river.
