Bobcat Ridge

Bobcat Ridge Natural Area, Fort Collins, CO. Bobcat Ridge is one of several Fort Collins natural areas that lie outside the city limits. This one is behind iconic Horsetooth Rock, near Masonville. Volunteers maintain trail cameras in the area to monitor wildlife. On a recent walk to change out trail cameras, we saw (on camera) a bear and mountain lion, in addition to the usual suspects: deer, coyotes, and wild turkeys.
